Comparative Effectiveness of Equivalent Static Analysis & Response Spectrum Analysis in Extreme Seismic Zones

Abstract Earthquake is one of the horrible natural disasters. With considerable developments in constructional science, experts have been able to find out factor forces that cause earthquakes damage and destructions different types buildings, including residential commercial caused by earthquake are high importance need be considered. The multi-story buildings usually weak points building, which Strength changes stiffness. this paper deal with two methods analyze, linear static analysis (Equivalent Static Analysis) dynamic (Response Spectrum on three height structures(5-Storey, 10-Storey, 15-Storey) regular plan various seismic zones (IV, V) as per IS1893-2016 compared parameters, max story displacement, drift ratio, base shear, axial force column, bending moment column fundamental time period from effect methods, using ETABS software. After analysis, these conclusions were made: Effect equivalent both IV, V Max Story Displacement more than response spectrum 36% 15 Storey 38% 10 building 34% 5 building. Fundamental Time Period equal storey gap between each period, 9.5% less 29% storey. at Drift Ratio 27%, 33%, 30% (15,10,5) storeys analysis. In general, it can said values coming all parameters most
